Kinesiology for Digestion
Are you struggling with bloating, wind, indigestion, heartburn, constipation or diarrhoea, IBS, pain, food cravings? How does this impact on your mood, body, confidence, energy levels, and immunity?
Have you been trying to figure out what’s at the root of these symptoms and what to do about them?
There is a lot of great stuff out there and what works for one is not the same for everyone.
Kinesiology uses muscle testing to identify what you need in your circumstances. Kinesiology techniques work in the meridian energy system to clear stresses and blockages, and to restore balance. This, along with some lifestyle changes, enables your bodies’ natural self healing to do what it does.
What imbalances can occur?
It’s not the same for everyone. You are totally individual and so anything could come up. Here are some of the common things that we could end up addressing in your session.
Food Allergies and Intolerances
An allergy or an intolerance from a Kinesiology perspective covers any substance which causes an unexpected response in your meridian energy system. For example, a toxin gets treated as a friend or a nutrient gets filtered like a toxin. If we are consuming something that is energetically mismatched, our bodies can’t respond appropriately to them. Common sensitivities include gluten and dairy, but other surprising things can turn up, for example plastics in our food and unfiltered tap water.
Health Kinesiology is not about identifying allergies so that you can avoid those things, it is about retuning the body’s response to them.
Stress
Our nervous system is designed to shut down digestion when we anticipate danger,. This is not ideal when we’re facing every day stress. With Kinesiology, we can address underlying causes of stress, for example beliefs or fears we are carrying, and we can muscle test what your nervous system needs to reset.
Bacteria, Fungus, Parasites and Viruses
Our digestion relies on a mix of body chemicals, enzymes and bacteria to function optimally. Trespassers can disrupt the balance and cause strain on the system.
Poor Food Quality and Toxins
When food is produced to maximise quantity, minimise price and offer convenience, something has to be sacrificed. Unfortunately, in most cases, it’s goodness. The body likes goodness and doesn’t always get it.
Emotions and Digestion
How is your relationship with food? We celebrate with food. We suffer with food. We indulge ourselves. We deprive ourselves. We lose our appetite when something is just not right. We eat and eat when our hunger is never satisfied. Sometimes we love it, sometimes we hate it and sometimes we wish we had a bit more control over how we feel about it.
Rules & Habit
How were you taught to behave around food? And is that true to your personality? Do you follow a strict routine? Do you eat when you’re hungry? Do you eat intuitively? In from top the tele? On the run? Are you a meat, carbs and two veg kind of person? Do you always choose chocolate ice cream for desert? Are you listening to your body or are you eating by rules and habits?
It could be one of these things, a few of these things or none of these things impacting your digestion.
You are unique and so are your circumstances and your response to those circumstances. With Health Kinesiology, we can identify exactly what it is you need, in what quantity and how long you need it for in order to improve your digestive health.
